Perhaps it was the fact that she was alone, no longer surrounded by her band of MerryMen. Perhaps it was the setting; the fact that she was no longer in the open forest and had fewer escape route. Whatever the case, she looked smaller, somehow, standing there with her hood pooled around her shoulders and her mask fixed firmly in place. But then she shook herself, and just like a second mask, a smirk slid across her lips as she took command of the situation.

It mixed the growing industrialization and the more chaotic bearings of the current era they were in. Maybe there were a few scruff marks around the place from the obligatory bar fights. Either way, it was still nicer then either of them were expecting.
They hadn't even made it a drink in when someone sat down right beside them.
Her voice was silky, a sing-song like voice, confident in a way no-other could match. It was like a siren calling out to its prey, an ancient song just waiting to be uncovered. Mira would've swooned for those defined muscles underneath her jacket, if she hadn't clocked her appearance at first glance.
Lord and behold, it was the bounty they were hunting, Ryu fucking Rumi.

Zoey nodded. "And I'm telling you that you should come by later tonight, and I'd be more willing to help you out."
