Summary
In Paris, the Graham de Vanily royal family rules with an iron fist and has been financially oppressing the citizens for decades, with outrageous taxes and no empathy for the plight of the villagers. It's a wonder the country hasn't collapsed.
The heir to the throne, Prince Félix, has been the center and the ringleader of it all. But in order to solidify his place as future king, he needs to be married, and trust me, no one is lining up for the job.
Meanwhile, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the daughter of the best bakers in the village, is wondering what to do. They're just barely getting by, and everyone else is in town is on the verge of an uprising.
