Essentially, au where Marinette's and Adrien's lives have been switched around. Adrien is the one with a comfortable home life and loving, living, parents. Meanwhile, Marinette's mother has just recently passed away, and her father is overly protective and isolating (a bit like his akumatised form as "Weredad"). Also, Marinette likes Chat Noir, and Adrien likes Marinette so it's reversed in that sense as well.
That, and Chloé gets a redemption arc because Thomas Ass-truck is an idiot to flush that entire plotline down the toilet.
This story will be a lot shorter than the actual show though haha.

Of course, Marinette accepts and when she goes there, she finds out many things.
Like her parents, weren't her parents, her life was filled with lies. She was to fit into the mold put out before her, act like the perfect little doll, the perfect princess. Act normally. But they didn't know her. She won't do it. What Marinette is going to do however, is make them fall at her feet, tremble in fear, and make them know exactly who she was.
She was going to make sure they know exactly who she was.
