Suki's eyes are dark, and Eve's heart pounds in her chest, and surely it's keeping time with the rise and fall of Suki's chest, thump, thump, thump, the brush of her thumb against her wrist, in, out, in, out. Eve feels a little braver tonight, and it's probably the slight hum, the buzz of alcohol that makes her just that bit bolder, just that bit braver, that pulls at the edges of her brain, telling her that this is a good idea. Suki hasn't touched the brandy yet, hasn't met Eve's gaze again. Instead, her forefinger has brushed the lip of the glass, the pretty pink of her nail bright against the dark grain of the tabletop between them. Miles stretch between them, and Eve wants desperately to close the distance, however stubborn Suki might be.
“Maybe not,” Eve stares as she swirls her pint around until the foamy remnants of the head cling to the sides of the glass, “But I want to.”

This is an EastEnders/Sukeve AU crossover fic. It's set in a high school where several current adult EE characters (and the odd past character) are students. I have made most of them in their senior year (aged 17-18), but some are juniors and sophomores.
The main storyline is Suki and Eve meeting when Eve moves down from Bradford to London with her parents and starts at Walford High on the first day of her senior year.
'The Six' are a clique in the senior year, and Suki is the leader and the Queen Bee of the school. They're the popular girls, the school bullies feared by the other kids, and their love interests are the popular boys/jocks who are also bullies. So several characters other than Suki and Eve will feature, and there will be some sub-plots, most of which will be inspired by EE storylines past & present, all given a high school twist. It will chart a year of high school, so it will be an ongoing fic with multiple chapters.

After the wedding, I saw some people on Twitter (I remember one of them was ladyedownton on here) saying imagine if Suki or Eve got amnesia after being dragged off the building & being poisoned, so I was inspired by that to write this fanfic. I've only written Eve getting amnesia so far & it's completed. She wakes up thinking it's 2022. I've started one for Suki where she wakes up thinking it's 1987, but as you can imagine, that one is far more complicated & longer to write.
