Pascal's head is spinning.
"Ophelia." Urgency has a grip on his tone; this phone already has its grip on him. "What are you saying?"
There's a moment of silence. Barely a beat; it drags out for forever. Finally, Ophelia speaks up quietly.
"…phones like this are used to plead the Grim Reaper to bring someone back to life."

"Come on." He opens his arms again, eyes glued to his brother. A silent bring it on, a red rug to a bull. "Say it."
Heat leaves Tank's face, but it's still in his eyes. It's different now. This isn't the anger that Ripp sees whenever his brother is about to get into a fight. It's colder, mixed with a drop of something else. Disgust? Fear? Pain?
His tone grows quieter, but not less hostile.
"You're just like mom."
