It's as good a time as any to take up Volo's equally reckless danger-seeking offer to start studying the rifts up close and personal. And while Volo keeps busy with the Ginkgo Guild, Warden Ingo suggests it's as good a time as any to start their "Path of Solitude"- a series of one-on-one battles with every pokemon in vast Hisui, each containing a different lesson to prepare him for the eventual re-escalation of the slumbering frenzy crisis.
Well, he has been wanting to get to know Ingo a little better. Besides, they're supposed to be lessons. A solid chunk of the roster includes BABY pokemon, for Arceus' sake! It can't be that hard, right?

Kamado was reluctant to let Rei go, and fortunately he's due back today. The commander was so delighted to see him again that he went to meet him outside instead of waiting at his office. And what did he see?
Rei, his omega, in the arms of Adaman, an alpha. The worst part? Rei was being rocked by Adaman who was rubbing his back, affectionately, as if to comfort him. The most painful to watch was Adaman's departure, as he took the opportunity to kiss Rei's forehead to wish him a good rest.
Rei was kissed by an alpha other than Kamado. Rule Three, the commander's most important rule, has been broken: Rei can’t see other alphas.
He's going to make him pay for this affront.
