"Making plans as always, huh?" Dazai’s voice slithered out of the darkness. His bandaged hands were buried in the pockets of his black trousers, and as he descended the stairs with deliberate slowness, the glint in his eyes was nothing short of devilish delight.
"That voice..." Chuuya, chained to the wall with his arms shackled on both sides, narrowed his eyes the moment he recognized who it belonged to. He clenched his teeth, lifting his head against the weight of the chains as his gaze hardened.
"Beautiful. What a marvelous sight," Dazai finally stopped as he stepped into the light. The curve of his lips sharpened, and with a wide grin plastered across his face, he spoke as he took in his former partner’s pitiful state. "This outshines any ten-billion-yen masterpiece. Don’t you agree, Chuuya?"

Summary
A virus breaks out in Japan and has slowly been spreading throughout the world. The infected people’s brains have been modified in which they feel the need to rely on human meat as sustenance. The majority of Yokohama has been infected, leaving only a few survivors who have been able to avoid the unknown virus. It is spread through blood and temporarily kills the host before they’re corpses are reanimated and they’re need for flesh arises. The use of abilities triggers something in the infected’s brains that causes them to go feral and attack the ability user, so such people have had to refrain from using their powers in order to have a better chance at surviving.

Something is missing from Yokohama. His heart aches for someone he can't even remember, a vague impression of an irritatingly upright citizen who used to irk him to no end. Someone who's not here by his side.
So when Mori gives him a chance to go overseas to investigate a growing unknown organization, Ryuunosuke's soul tells him he'll find whoever's haunting his thoughts.
No name, no face and only a gut feeling of which direction to find them. He's had less to work with.

An ability user with a mind control ability try’s to take over Atsushi, but he can’t fully because of Byakko. The guy can’t control abilities, only people and animals, so he is very surprised when Atsushi’s eyes turn all yellow and he starts to move.
Byakko now has full control over Atsushi’s body and attacks the guy, she would have killed him if Atsushi hadn’t told her not to, she almost still did anyway, no one threatens Atsushi and gets away with it…

This is just a collection of drabbles that aren't long enough to be stand-alone fics -- mostly pieces I wrote on a whim on Tumblr that I figured I'd post here as well. There's no set schedule, I think it adds to the whimsy of it (I just have full pieces that I actually need to write and post out).

The sky wept for the lack of light, strangled by dark clouds hovering over New York City. It was a rare moment where the streets weren't filled with people, most taking refuge from the wailing sky. A young man and a raccoon take the opportunity to amble on home, basking in the solace the rain has brought.
A scream, child-like and terrified, tears through the solitude. The man snaps his head up, a single violet eye peeking through dark bangs, confused and slightly annoyed. The raccoon chitters loudly and leaps off of the man's shoulder.
"Karl?! What—" The man reaches forward in an attempt to grab the raccoon before it could run off, missing by a hair. He curses under his breath and begins to run after the animal.
The rain falls harder, nearly blinding the man. He nearly slides off of his feet as he turns a corner, almost catching Karl.
Something—no, someone, slams into him. He falls back with a huff, landing hard on the flooded street.
Both eyes are revealed as he looks down, frowning. His expression freezes at the sight of sunset-colored eyes, terrified and lost.
Tiny hands, pale and bruised, covered in scars, reach up to grab his shirt. "Tasukete!"
Nothing is the same since.

Dazai crouched beside Chuuya and grabbed him hard but certain by the back of his red hair, dragging him face-first before twisting him around. With the tip of his finger he tilted Chuuya’s chin upward; in that mocking, honeyed tone he spoke, “Is the little sheep running away? And at this hour of the night? How sweet. You know, this honestly could’ve put me to sleep—if only we had a few fences on the property~"
In that instant, Chuuya’s pride consumed him: he spat in Dazai’s face.
Dazai didn’t blink; with his fingertip he wiped the spit away with irritating patience, almost delicacy.
SLAP!
Dazai’s hand struck Chuuya’s face hard. So they might have a little fun.
