Shaking her head Futaba walks from where she was standing with Sumire over towards the front of the group, seeming completely unphased by Goro and Ryuji’s prior conversation. Instead she begins talking with a rather amused tone to her voice.
“Well now that Akechi is done being a smart ass and Ryuji is done being a dumb ass. It’s time to go find and kick a candy stealing jerk’s real ass!” Futaba turns to them confidently after her exclamation before pulling out her phone and the world swirled away into nothingness.

Summary
Goro and Akira head for the location of the first and oldest Liminal, hoping to find more clues about Akira’s mission and the nature of the cognitive world itself, but their alliance is still uneasy. Despite agreeing to help Akira, the prospect of aiding Akira’s suicide mission is beginning to look even less appealing, and Goro finds himself troubled by emotions he’d rather not name. With Shido breathing down his neck and his own memories haunting his every step, he has more important things to worry about than his preoccupation with Akira’s reckless bargain. However, the labyrinthine depths of the Liminal are unforgiving, and among the formless monsters stalking the halls waits a new threat, one that won’t let either of them run away anymore.

Summary
Apparently Akira Kurusu works at a convenience store. Day in and day out, dealing with all sorts of problems, whether it be weird requests or attitude from customers, he experiences it all. Through all this, he keeps his cool, attempting to calm each customer down. This mask of Akira’s wasn’t something Akechi knew about and he begins to wonder: What else does he not know about Kurusu? As a result, Akechi has made it his job to investigate, even if it means visiting the 777 in Shibuya constantly, much to growing confusion of the Thieves.

Akechi finds out Akira Kurusu works a job in the convenience store and discovers customer-service Akira. He overthinks this and finds a deeper meaning in it. He “casually” visits over and over again, getting a bit closer to the underpaid cashier each time.
