“Hey, can you see my phone anywhere?” he asked. Eddie started looking around the bed and then stretched himself to his side of the bed and pulled it from the nightstand.
“Here.” He tossed it to him, and Buck immediately started looking through recent pictures on his phone. Pictures of them partying, a video of Eddie taking a shot, and another video of Eddie dancing.
Then he came across the next picture and felt as if someone had thrown a bucket of ice water over his head. They must have asked someone else to take the picture because it was taken from at least a two-meter distance. The two of them were holding out a piece of paper towards the camera… and they were pressed together in a passionate kiss.
Buck looked up from the picture when Eddie made a strangled sound on the other side of the room.“You might want to see this…” He reached over with a piece of paper in his hand. Buck took it and turned his phone over to him in return. Eddie bit into his fist as he studied the picture. Buck looked down at the paper in his hand and turned it over to the right side. It was a copy of a marriage license for Mr. Evan Buckley-Diaz and Mr. Edmundo Buckley-Diaz.

In this fic one of the medical inaccuracies is involving dying to donate vital organs to save their recipient in this world the donor can chose to do this after going through the legal process. So that’s all I can say I hope you can give this fic a chance and here we go

"Buck. You're still in there. For once in your fucking life save yourself. Don't make me come in there." Eddie snapped into the receiver and Buck almost laughed but the smoke was getting thicker and he's already been in the fire for long enough that weariness was clinging to his muscles.
"Don't go trying to steal my thunder now." Buck said warmly—he was always warm with Eddie.
The little girl screamed as the fire surged closer to the fringes of her night gown. The fire roared. The ceiling finally, tired as ever, gave in.
