Someone said write what happened after the events of season 2, and first off I don't know how to write the idea Billy was just there. You can't convince me Nancy didn't have a minor panic attack seeing Steve beat up thinking they all got hurt, especially since the Demogorgons are attracted to blood. Steve got them home safe, just did what he had (plus whatever they asked) and made sure they were okay. So mainly soft Steve Harrington and the kids.

Even if he argued that the whiskey he mixed in canceled out the effects of the caffeine, he can feel the buzz of restlessness at the base of his skull. No more sleep will come to him tonight. To be honest, he hadn’t even gone to bed. The team had watched movies since they arrived back from the day’s mission and he’d simply dozed on the couch throughout most of them; several grandpa jokes had been thrown at him fondly as a result. Now, alone in the communal kitchen, he doesn’t regret taking that time to rest and relax, but it’s left him jumpy and unsettled. Perhaps worse, the old soldier isn’t sure how to get the energy out.
