She soon finds herself plunged right in the middle of Jorvik’s mysteries, after befriending a rather peculiar, silver-haired individual – a woman named Katja, who claims to be the victim of an icy curse. She is determined to help her new friend in need… even if it involves doing some morally questionable things in the process. In the midst of Justin Moorland struggling to come to terms with the fact that he's the grandson of the evil Mr. Sands, CEO of Dark Core, he is arrested by the Keepers of Aideen. Ydris, a local magician, had made a non-verbal promise to Thomas Moorland, Justin’s father, to keep Justin safe — which he promptly fails to do, watching the arrest happen in real time and being unable to do anything about it. Justin never paid any attention to Ydris before, but in captivity Ydris is all he can think abour, and Ydris seems to have taken a sudden interest in him, which he will learn to be grateful for.
Will the Keepers of Aideen’s forcing hand be able to keep Justin and Ydris apart, while Ydris is thrust into adventures pertaining to Pandoria and being Pandorian? Will Ydris be able to both visit the land he once had to flee and come back unscathed? Will he make the choice to stay in Pandoria and, if so, why? For love? Or will love be the one thing keeping him on Jorvik? More importantly, will he ever get to see Justin again? Will Ydris have to be the one to set Justin free?
