Summary
The Republic suffered great losses at the battle of Geonosis, with more than half of the Republic Commandos losing their lives. When four of those commandos get paired up to form Aurek Squad, they think their squad will prevail for the rest of the war. But an injury tears them apart again, and instead of getting another commando, they end up being joined by a young ARC trooper to uncover a plot to sabotage the Republic’s war effort. The issue quickly turns personal, when two of the squad members save someone who doesn’t want to be saved, they make unconventional allies, and the squad’s Jedi, one of which is in a romantic relationship with a commando, get caught in the crossfire.
