This is the first chapter from the first draft of an unfinished, unedited work in progress I randomly started in early 2023 for no reason. It was based off a dream inspired by the Fable SMP, and I never made a plan for the plot, worldbuilt, or checked any character details I wrote. I just wrote what I remembered from the dream and added some stuff from there. And then the story fell apart and was abandoned because of those reasons, and I was not as good at writing.
Why am I posting this, you may ask? Cause why not. And some writers need to know that no writer is perfect. No first draft is perfect. You shouldn't write for others, but for yourself. And it's okay to not work on a project for months and then come back to it later.
It's all okay.
