Arlecchino’s gaze softened, though her expression remained composed. “You have quite the spirit, Miss Furina. I must admit, it’s refreshing…” She said, almost smiling.
“Yet, do you feel it, Miss Furina? The pull of the unknown, the allure of the darkness?” Arlecchino’s voice was almost hypnotic. “You should know what you’re asking for, Miss Furina.”
Furina fought to keep her composure, her heart pounding like a drum in her chest. “This is what I want.” she said firmly, blue eyes not backing down from red ones. “You’re the one too afraid to admit the truth.”
Arlecchino’s lips formed into a small, intrigued smile. “A vampire hunter’s daughter, fascinated by the very creatures she was raised to hunt. You are indeed unique, Miss Furina.”
The tension only grew as they both refused to back down. Furina more determined of the two as she grasped Arlecchino’s collar, pulling her down as the space between them nearly reached zero. Arlecchino’s eyes betrayed her as they glanced at Furina’s lips.
“See, you can’t deny it, can you?” Furina smugly added, her eyes intense as her eyes traveled from Arlecchino’s lips back to those red X’s.

I am quite certain I will wet myself before I can reach the washroom.” It’s a gamble, but Furina is certain this blunt honesty will scare Neuvillette off. He will flee the scene and never mention it again, a consummate professional and devoted servant of Fontaine.
When Neuvillette drops to his knees before Furina’s throne, he realizes with mounting horror just how severely he misjudged the Iudex.

“Wow, you really did your big one this time Furina, I’m sure you blew her away.” Clorinde immediately teases as soon as Arlecchino is out of ear shot.
Furina’s face is twisted with embarrassment and frustration, they knew they could be a bit meek at times but never when it was something she knew she really wanted.
“Clorinde, stop teasing them, can’t you see Furina’s trying her best?” Navia says feeling sorry for Furina’s struggle.
“I, Furina, will prove to the both of you that I can talk to Arlecchino!” She suddenly says dramatically, causing both of them to turn away from each other and look at her. “I’ll even ask for her number! Then you both have to stop teasing me!” They exclaim, crossing their arms over their chest.
Clorinde’s lips form a small amused smile while Navia shakes her head at Furina’s slightly dramatic display in the hall.
“How about we make a bet, Navia?” Clorinde says.
“A Bet? Now pray, do tell me why I’m a part of this all of a sudden?” Navia laughs with her bright smile.
“I just thought it might be fun, if Furina get’s Arlecchino’s number then I’ll grant you a wish, but if she doesn’t you’ll grant me one. Fair?”
