"Alright, I'll be back then," Techno agrees. It's better that they tell that they want him out of the house as soon as possible, rather than him trying to dodge that conversation.
Kristin smiles at him (at least he can do what's told) and lets him leave for uni. On the subway Techno looks at the apartments in his old district.

Yuki's head swivels in that direction, and he sees Max peacefully looking out the window, probably watching the trees they're flying over. But as Yuki's gaze travels to his own hand, he spots it being held in Max's hand.
The hold isn't all that strong. It's secure enough that Yuki feels the warmth of Max's palm, but not restricting to the point that the younger won't be able to pull away, if he wants to.

Summary
As Phil looks back, he sees Technoblade resurfacing again, but this time the mer isn't looking at him, but rather somewhere to his left. Techno reaches out and pulls something out of the water. Then Phil is face to face with a mer, but a small and grumpy one.
This must be what the merfolk calls a pup, a child of their species. Said pup is currently pouting at him, while being held under his arms by Techno.
"Phil, meet Theseus, my son," the older mer announces proudly, which leaves Phil's brain lagging to catch up with the information. The man thought that if his friend had a child, it would have somehow came up in their conversations. After all, when kids take up the majority of your time, it's hard not to mention them to others.

"Oh... really?" Frederson asks, his shoulders dropping as he slightly slouches forward. The smile is gone by now, replaced by only downcast eyes.
Eugene sighs harshly through his nose. "Whatever," he says, before going back to doing something more productive, than stirring a panic among the campers. Like, actually finding the clues to solve the case.

Techno spares a long glance at the man, frowning, before standing up and ruffling Tommy's hair. The kid sends him the cutest little glare, paired with the tiniest pout. Techno is almost tempted to ignore the director's call and stay with Tommy, but alas, work is work.
"Go sit with Niki, I'll join you soon." Techno gently nudges his son back towards the table. The kid stays looking at him for a bit, clutching at the older's pant leg, before he slowly releases his grip and dejectedly walks away.

One might think that spending the better part of his life in foster care would teach Techno to be able to get used to change easier. But since Tommy's appearance in his life, which has been a big change in and of itself, things just kept moving in unexpected directions.
Most, of course, somehow involving or being related to one Theseus Blade.

"Yeah?" Techno hums, straightening and looking fondly at his son, who only smiles at the older and starts babbling more, making grabby hands at Techno. He lets his son hold onto his pointer for a few moments before he turns to get his apartment keys and opens the door. He steps over the threshold and closes the door behind himself.
