Ekko avait trois tâches sur sa to-do list ce jour là : démanteler une machine hextech bizarre dans la planque d'une bande d'équarisseurs ; assister à la célébration de deux ans de paix entre Zaun et Piltover, et accessoirement boire à la mémoire de Jinx et Vander en compagnie de Vi. Se faire téléporter dans une dimension parallèle n'était définitivement pas au programme. Pas plus que se retrouver face à une Jinx bien vivante.
Qu'est-ce qui provoque ces téléportations interdimensionnelles incontrôlables? Pourquoi l'étrange machine qu'il a trouvé se met-elle à crépiter quand il s'aventure dans les mines ? Et quelle est cette voix qui en jaillit par intermittence ? Cette voix qui ressemble étrangement à la sienne...
Et bon sang, est-ce que c'est vraiment une bonne idée de s'attacher à la fille qu'il ne reverra bientôt plus jamais pour la deuxième fois?

Kara is at the end of her nursing shift when a violent man is brought in with an arrow wound. When he spits blood on her, Kara is transported elsewhere. Soon she's doing emergency wound care on book characters and trying not to lose it. She can't watch people suffer even if it isn't real, but Aragorn is very suspicious of a woman who tells no clear story and smells like an orc.
“Stranger things have happened than you or I have years to tell of it," Gandalf said. "Why does she unsettle you? Surely you do not feel threatened. I am tolerably certain you could defeat her if it came to violence.”
Aragorn scoffed at his gentle humor. “I’m glad to amuse you. There are more dangers than warriors and swords. Need I tell a wizard that?"
“I can assure you she is not evil and has not a whisper of magic.”
“Yet a beautiful woman appears directly in our path, leagues from civilization, and immediately gains the hobbits’ trust. No wizardry, you say?”
Kara was not *unhappy* at being called a beautiful woman (although his standards for human women, as opposed to elves, were probably low), but she was unhappy to be stuck eavesdropping. She’d seen this scene too many times in movies. They would definitely see her.- Language:
