Summary
Steve Harrington-Morris is 29 and has his life figured out. He's married to a gorgeous woman who's in her emergency medicine residency, he lives in a beautiful apartment in downtown Chicago, he has a solid relationship with his parents, and he gets to spend his days relaxing as a house husband.
Sure, he's sort of isolated, seeing as he doesn't really have friends, but he has his wife- when she'swillingable to spend time with him.
Yeah, it's definitely not the life he dreamed he'd have back when he was a teenager, but it's the life he got, so who is he to complain?
A series of realizations shakes Steve from this mindset, and has him deciding to attend a Corroded Coffin show, with the hope that he'll be able to reconnect with the man he once loved: up-and-coming rockstar, Eddie Munson.
He... doesn't have much of an idea for what to do after that, but he knows that seeing Eddie is the first step he needs to make in the plan to reclaim his life.
Hopefully, the rest will come easy.

Summary
Faced with no work for the summer, Robin gets the brilliant idea to apply to work at a summer camp for six weeks, and drags Steve right along with her.
Steve... really isn't sure what to expect. He's never even gone to camp before, he doesn't know the first thing about how to be a counselor.
Still, he agrees- mostly because he needs a source of income, and he's not about to let Robin leave him behind in Hawkins for a month and a half.
A few coincidences (and a little bad luck) finds Steve stuffing his cabin meant for 14 campers full of extra mattresses, so that it can hold a total of 24 campers, himself, and his counselor counterpart, who just so happens to be someone that he's run into once before: Eddie Munson.
Surely things can only go up from here?
Or, a summer camp fic filled with humor, fluff, and a few camp counselors falling in love.

Summary
It's mid-May, 1985, and Steve's been tasked by Claudia Henderson to plan Dustin's 14th birthday party.
Much to his surprise, he's been given a partner in completing this task- Eddie Munson, known drug dealer and someone he didn't even know that Dustin knew.
Steve doesn't like the guy, and he especially doesn't like the guy hanging around his kid.
Still, Steve supposes they can set aside their differences in an effort to make Dustin's birthday perfect.
Little does he know how well he'll get to know Eddie through the process, and how much his opinion on the guy will be changed by the time Dustin's party begins.

Munson remained tight-lipped, and Steve called it a draw.

Distantly, he hears the Wolf snarling and grappling with the demogorgan.
And then his blurry eyes pick up a third figure joining the fray.
A familiar figure, armed with a crude spear, jabbing furiously at the demogorgan’s head.
Steve’s head swims and he loses sight of anything after that, the sound of his rapidly-slowing heartbeat thudding in his ears.
“Steve, you with me, big boy?”

In the aftermath of Eddie’s death, of the gates opening, Steve is struggling. His bat bites refuse to heal, he can’t let go of Eddie’s bloodied vest, and his dreams are plagued by visions of Eddie, by the Upside Down, by a creature that stalks him through the night.
Until one night, at the end of his tether, Steve returns to the Upside Down to search for the man he’d left behind.

Sure he’s a creepy crawly little bugger, but he’s also the sweetest little sugar cube in the world. And hey, it’s a douchey thing to 'wham bam thank you ma’am' save the world with me, and then leave."“Jesus Christ.” Logan huffed. “You really are a yapper, aren’t you?”
“Certified yapper, yeah.” Wade bumped Logan’s shoulder. “Seriously. Stay. Please.”
Logan put a hand to his chest, right over his stupid, hopeful heart. “Maybe a few days.”
“A few days sounds good.” Wade budged closer until their knees knocked too and smiled like a smitten fool. “You’ll see. It’ll be fine. You and me and Pete-- it'll be fine."
