Summary
Regulus Black comes back to life seven years after he killed Voldemort and, by extension, himself.
Declared legally dead, his memories are studied by the Unspeakables to make sense of his death and the events surrounding the Dark Lord's fall.
The people who love him are forced to witness his memories alongside the Ministry, uncovering a past filled with violence, loyalty, impossible choices, and love. What they learn changes not only how they see Regulus, but also the world around them.
An AU in which Regulus saves everyone, and the consequences are to be lived with.

Summary
When Voldemort fell and disappeared, presumed dead, Regulus Black became somewhat of a recluse taking a job as an Unspeakable at The Department of Mysteries. Aside from the snakes that knew him best, he’s stayed under the radar. After the death of his cousin Narcissa and her husband Lucius, Regulus takes custody of his nephew Draco and finds himself coming back to the surface five years after Voldemort’s unending. After Draco convinces Regulus to take him to a play date with a new friend, he comes face to face with James Potter his lost love that he hasn’t seen in years. Someone he didn’t think he’d ever see again.
Regulus must come to terms with his feelings for James, his role as a parent to Draco, and the many secrets he holds in his private life that threaten to undo everything he’s built.

Bruce swallows past the almost-truth of it. In Clark's warm smooth radio voice, it sounds plausible. It sounds like something that could happen.
