What determines if something has the shape of a human?
Is it their soul? Or is it just a physical matter, such as genetics or merely shape?

~~~One day, a lone girl who can inflate pieces of her skin into human-sized and shaped puppets, breaks into a building.
She does so for three reasons: to clear the buildings of cursed spirits, and to retrieve payment for her actions, because in her own words, one cannot live off good will alone. There’s more than one kind of smart, and Kokoro was people smart. She wasn’t much of an Inuzuka, (except she was) but that probably had more to do with her soul than anything.
Kokoro might not remember the story of Naruto, but that won’t stop her from changing it. As a civilian, of course, because Inuzuka were nothing if not unpredictable.
