In the blink of an eye, he was back. Back like nothing happened.
One second he was pulling on the rift as hard as he could, music playing from his screen to mask the terror he was feeling. The pain seared through him but he fought, knowing it’d all be over soon. And now he was opening his eyes in SMG4’s room. The bright lights burned his eyes, making him flinch. He gasped, falling back. Leonardo has always been the golden child. Perfectly perfect, like all things should be.
So when he can’t take it anymore, he runs away to everyone’s favorite interdimensional death trap: The Battle Nexus.
Fortunately, it provides a much-needed respite from the constant pressure. Unfortunately, he meets a certain rabbit. One who threatens to break down Leo’s carefully crafted facade with a buck-toothed smile and a pat on the arm.
What’s a turtle to do?Usagi is at the Battle Nexus to avoid his problems, but unfortunately the tournament keeps giving him new ones.
He’s fallen head over heels for someone it’ll never work out with.

Summary
Agent Stone is a field agent, and a damn good one, until a mission gone sour leaves him with debilitating injuries. There's not much call for an agent who can't even hold a gun anymore, let alone use it. His career, and his life, are effectively over.
Until Commander Walters gives him a new assignment.
Doctor Robotnik is not a nice man. If he's not ignoring Stone, he's screaming at him. To him, all other humans are defective, and Stone's no different. Which, compared to the way all his doctors and higher-ups treat Stone now, is... oddly reassuring.
