“Well, everyone I know is here,” he murmured. “I couldn’t… just leave them.”
The man hummed softly, then he lifted his head to scan over the woods, a faint whistle came from his lips, before his gaze landed onto Will again.
“Maybe something here wanted you back.”

Summary
Time doesn’t move the way it used to. When the world falls apart, like, really goes to shit, three months should feel like nothing. Most people are too frantic to notice what Will can only describe as an ascending horror movie soundtrack narrating his every move.
A part of him must still be pinned to the rotting wall of Hawkins library, conscious of every second in every day, desperate to be rescued from something only he can see.

Summary
Mike has come to a horrible conclusion, Will doesn’t want to be his friend anymore. He's not accepting this though, he's going to do everything he can to fix their friendship, and all while being mad at Will for lying to him about the painting.
He’s right, of course, Will doesn’t want to be his friend, he wants to be more, but Mike doesn’t need to know that. So, Will is trying to put distance between them as Mike insists on closing the gap, until he realizes there's something happening to Mike. Something supernatural.

Después del último enfrentamiento, el grupo se prepara para el golpe final contra Vecna. Entre torpes entrenamientos y misiones que solo parecen llevarlos a un callejón sin salida, Will y Mike tratan de recuperar su amistad luego de que está estuviera de cabeza por una larga temporada. Pero el comportamiento errático de Mike lleva a Will a la locura, ¿Por qué su amigo parece acercarse y luego retroceder cinco pasos?
Mientras tanto Mike trata de poner su vida en orden, confundido por el evidente distanciamiento con Eleven y agobiado por los nuevos sentimientos que le hacen cosquillas en el estómago cada que se trata de Will. Definitivamente algo está mal, y comienza a preguntarse si Vecna está jugando con su cabeza.
