Summary
Mike breathes out sharply, sinking to his knees in front of Will without conscious thought. Every bone in his body is turning to jelly, because Will is here, but he's also- not. His form is made up of the same dusty gold that fills the air around him, flaking off him and dancing around. Mike wants to reach out and catch the light in his palm. Will looks not entirely solid, like this is some poor imitation of him rendered in light particles, like his physical form is somewhere else, and for a horrible moment Mike thinks that Will is a ghost after all. That this is an illusion, brought about by Mike's hopeless yearning. If it weren't for the pebbles digging sharply into his legs as he knees on the ground and the crisp chill of the spring air on his face, Mike would be sure he was dreaming, but he doesn't think he could dream up something so simultaneously as magical and horrifying as the specter of his maybe-dead friend hovering before him.
"Will," he whispers, reaching out until his fingers are centimeters from Will's arm, and Will's eyes fly open.
on march 29th, 1986, will byers vanishes for a second time. 366 days later, he reappears.

His heartbeat is calming and soothing, just radiates kindness with each beat, feels like he’s listening to a lullaby.
It’s honestly the kindest sound he’s ever heard.
Tanjiro’s pretty eyes and his kind heart are more than enough for Zenitsu to find himself falling fast, despite all logic telling him this is a bad idea.
Then again, Zenitsu has never been the most logical person.

“Let’s not do this here,” Technoblade said, looking around at the gravestones that surrounded them both.
Tommy wanted to scoff. “Well, c’mon then. You came to pay your respects, pay them, then leave.”
“Theseus,” Technoblade repeated, and it sounded almost like a plea.
“What?” Tommy snapped, keeping his eyes pointed away from Techno’s.
“You can’t just avoid this.”
“Watch me.”
Technoblade sighed, rubbing a hand over his face in exasperation. “Come to my place, we’ll talk.”
Tommy sat back down next to the headstone, braiding the dandelions growing in front of it into a little crown. Techno and him used to make flower crowns. Wilbur too. They would sit under the willow tree next to their house, leaning against the rough bark and spending hours just sitting together, weaving flowers into a circle. Tommy misses those days.

It's been five years since their mother's death, and two since Technoblade left Tommy without warning. On the anniversary of her death, the two brothers meet once again in a graveyard.
Cuddles ensue.
