    Prince Loki of Jotunheimr had been married to Crown Prince Thor of Asgard for centuries.
    However, for as much as he knew his husband inside and out, the one part of his life that had until now been kept from Loki was Thor’s little adventures on Midgard with his mortal band of warrior friends - the Avengers, as they apparently called themselves. Loki had laughed the first time Thor had told him of their name, but had been quick to apologize at the pouting expression on his husband's face.
    In any case, Loki only knew of the Avengers and their merry avenging from Thor’s oftentimes exaggerated stories. And seen as his husband had been rather engulfed in his affairs on Midgard over the last years, leaving Loki behind on many such occasions, to chase after yet another exciting experience with his new found comrades, Loki had found himself wondering a many times what seemed so special about this group of mortal heroes, to catch his husband’s mostly fleeting attention so.

    So when Thor had proposed to take Loki with him to his next outing to Midgard, how could he have refused?

    It had actually been a long time since Hiccup had thought about how he would die.
    When he was young, every sunrise was another gamble to see if he would get himself eaten by a dragon or somehow manage to fall off one of Berk’s many cliffs.
    Perhaps Winter would finally choose to break his wiry body with illness or he would catch an unfortunate stray battle axe.
    Yet here he was, 21, about to die in the wrong place (not a bad age to reach in the Archipelago when you’re Hiccup Haddock, let's be honest).

    But that was the thing wasn’t it? Hiccup made plenty of marks all in the wrong places.

    What if one of those marks was in the future? On one unsuspecting spirit’s affections?

    Danny would like to say for the record that it was not his fault.

    In fact, Danny would say that it was entirely Clockwork's fault. After all, he wouldn't even be in this situation if it wasn't for that cryptic time god.

    But what was his fault was the fact that he kept helping.

    He kept taking the cash from the assholes messing with the residents who lived in the area (and damn there were a lot of assholes near where he lived). He kept accepting their offers of food. So because of this new routine that kept him able to afford to rent out his shitty (and possibly illegal) apartment and the hunger pangs sufficiently satisfied, rumors grew.

    tldr; after Clockwork dropped of Danny in Gotham he tries to make the best out of the situation which includes helping out some people. Except along the way that led to rumors that he was an up-and-coming crime boss. A rumor he was largely unaware of.
