Alexander couldn’t believe this. There was simply no way this was happening. This had to be the worst possible scenario imaginable. He’d thought when dorm assignments came around he would stay in his previous room with John Laurens, like he had for the past two years. That was, until John moved out of the dorms to share an apartment with his boyfriend Hercules Mulligan. He was happy for the two, really, John and Herc were some of his best friends. But this meant he had no idea who he’d be rooming with. He had hoped he would get placed with Lafayette or maybe even Aaron Burr, despite not knowing the man all that well. Worst case scenario, he’d get placed with a total stranger.
Wrong. That was not the worst case scenario. The worst case scenario was what he saw walking into his new dorm room.
