Izuku Midoriya has given everything he is to stop Shigaraki, and none of the vestiges are happy about that, including the one that has been in hiding, the one with the ‘stockpile’ meta ability. They are the one most able to allow access to the abilities in their meta ability, including all of the ones stolen by All For One, who also has a vestige. New game plus allows for a start over, and searching for a way to help Izuku, drags a certain rat who won’t question another turtle. 2003 Splinter awakes in the BNHA world, with all eight sons having always been there and shrugs it off as ‘misremembering’ having moved back to Japan and the extra turtles? Clearly, he miscounted in his pre-mutation brain.’
