It was a sanctuary for Hongjoong, his place of worship. A place where day in and day out he helped reprieve sinners of their name sake. A priest is committed to preaching the word of God to his disciples.
It is a vow most take seriously, and one not so easily broken. An oath is a binding between a Priest and God, an anchor into faith. Hongjoong wore his oath like a badge of honour, day in and day out making rounds in the church, holding support groups for those in need, comforting the ones finding themselves in a dark time. In his twenty-eight years Alice, eight of which spent in the church, he would not have believed he would ever willingly break his oath.
