Ghost has just gotten rescued from the Russians after being captured on a mission, but something is different. They changed him into a half animal half man that must transform to keep his sanity. How will the Task Force deal with this? Hopefully they won't embarrass him by bringing in an attractive sergeant to 'train' him. (I have bad news Simon)

Hoping to ease his conscious and get some much needed closure, he takes a trip back to his hometown, hoping to find himself in the process. He drags along his brooding Lieutenant, for emotional support, hoping something familiar might ease the Lieutenant's troubled soul as well.

Roach dies the first time to Shadows putting a bullet into his chest. He expects that to be the end of his life. No comfort, just dark crying skies as he dies on the streets of Las Almas, Ghost’s voice yelling to him through his comms as Soap leaves him to survive.
He didn't expect to wake up on the wet cobblestone of Las Almas and see blue eyes filled with worry above him. He didn’t expect to see Soap again and hear Ghost’s voice again. Didn’t expect to see it all happen before his eyes again and again, over and over, as if some divine being was torturing him, playing with him as if he were a toy.
He expected to be welcomed with the cold arms of death once, but he really must’ve pissed in a god’s cereal in his past life didn’t he?
Or: Roach is in a time loop and has to keep himself and everyone alive while also putting his sanity on the line.
(Aka; I put our beloved bug boy THROUGH IT man. And I'm not sorry. I promise he has a good ending.)

He keeps driving, Lana comes up again and you open your eyes and lean from the window to see the trees become a green blur.
He feels like in a movie, like in Lana del Rey’s song, like he is the lucky one and not the other way around.
He has never considered himself lucky, but in this moment, he feels like a damn lottery winner.
The trees become a city again at some point and you look disappointed. He doesn’t blame you. He has always told you that you chose the wrong career and that you belong in the woods, running barefoot, laughing with the mushrooms, petting the wolves.
You never believe him, but then again, he likes Dolly Parton and Lana del Rey.
