"What the hell are you doing?" He hears the rough grind of Shu's voice, a symptom of years of shouting and yelling. Free snaps his hands up in defense.
"Just trying to help" He soothes quickly, Valt almost laughs at how Free is treating Shu like an animal that will bite, but he can't find it in himself to make any type of joke, so instead he sits on the floor still clutching his heaving stomach.
"Off." Shu barks, it's violent. Valt wants to laugh at him softly and tell him that it's fine, introduce them without the connotations of needing to beat each other in any type of game because it was over. Free stands up quickly, nodding at Shu.

This is a head cannon based on the fact that Valt's English voice actor had changed at the beginning of Cho-z and it made me think that Valt could have gone though vocal training though puberty because you can tell that there are female undertones. I do know that is not the case, but it's fun to think about. This also probably could explain why is he shorter than his beyblading peers because he had most of his growth spurt in Cho-z while his friends shot up slightly afterward. Idk I just think Trans Valt is cool.
