Link took in the large man with his bright red clothes and shiny jewelry. He wondered if he could get some clothes that color. And what kind of rocks those were in the jewelry?
“I'm sorry, sir. This is my son, Link. I'm sure if he'd known you were here he'd be on his best behavior.”
Link knew by the tone, that was really an order. Dad always said to be polite to adults. But this didn't seem like a “please” or “thank you” situation. Link wasn't too good at remembering all those other manners. Well, being polite was like being nice, right? So Link did the nicest thing he could think of.
“Wanna see my frog?”
Or a look at what might have been if pre-calamity Link had grown up with more freedom and got to hold on to more of his gremlin energy.

Summary
“Keep going, love,” Zelda says between kisses. The pecks were featherlight, tickling him, making it hard to focus on words. Link’s head spins.
“And, that one, was from a Lynel sword, and… and that burn was from a fire arrow, and— and…”
Zelda kisses each one reverently, running her hands down Link’s body, feeling the way his breath hitches adorably with each kiss.
Zelda makes sure that Link knows she loves his body, even with his scars.

Summary
Strange storms begin lashing at the castle and sickly mists begin bubbling up from below the dungeons. Something is afoot in Hogwarts and Harry Potter stumbles upon it, as he always does. When he accidentally unleashes the wind mage Vaati from his prison, it's up to Harry, his friends, and his new "brothers" to put Hogwarts right again. An original "game" set in Harry's third year, combining various gimmicks and geographical quirks from across Zelda canon. Deep knowledge of Zelda lore is not a prerequisite for reading, I promise. It's not like the HP kids know what an Octorok is from the get-go!

“You’ll have to try and meet up with him later then. He’s gonna be so happy to see you. Perfect timing, by the way—everything’s just about to kick off.”
[What’s going on? I’ve never seen the town so busy before,] Link signed.
“You… don’t know about the festival?”

OR: every year, the Gerudo celebrate the anniversary of their current leader's coronation with a huge festival, and Link unknowingly arrives just in time. Who knew Ganondorf could dance?

A slouched body and pale complexion is going to make what’s inside show on the outside; he’s not stupid enough to think that he can hide it. No matter what fancy fabrics he drapes over himself, that haunted, shocked demeanor is going to shine through.
Snapdragons can’t hide when they’re wilting, come rain or shine.
Link and Ganondorf have finally repaired their relationship, spending the last five years being busy as bees and improving the quality of life in the desert. When a chance comes to finally relax after such chaos, the two decide to take the now five-year-old triplets to Hateno for a family vacation.
However, a rancid encounter casts doubt on Link’s abilities to protect his family, and the solution Ganondorf offers is anything but simple: obtain a Secret Stone.
And Zelda, being Hyrule’s last defender, won’t allow that to happen, no matter what.

Iliandra, being the descendant of heroes, had certain responsibilities.
Unfortunately, with those responsibilities came those who would try to abuse it. When it was revealed the goddess had blessed her with the ability to use the Ocarina passed down through her family since the olden days, her family forced her to go along with their whims. Eventually, she had enough- and fled from the village she had grown up in, taking the Ocarina with her. She could not have predicted the monsters that would attack shortly after.
At that point in time, Iliana- a young woman that shared in the soul of Iliandra- was caught in an awful accident. To save Iliandra, and to give the hero soon-to-be-awakened a better chance of defeating their greatest foe, Hylia gave Iliana an offer of a second chance. Taking her up on that offer, Iliana soon awoke in the body of Iliandra, a Hylian that was near identical to her. With her knowledge of this world, Hylia hopes Iliana will be able to work alongside Iliandra to guide Link on his journey throughout the wild. What the goddess failed to consider, was that Iliana knew very little about the previous heroes' journeys...
And, as such, had no idea what it was she was doing.

It takes literal hours, but the man eventually manages to calm him down enough to explain--haltingly and painstakingly slowly--that he is a Hero too.
By the end of it, it's honestly not that hard to believe. Hard to understand, sure, but Hyrule already has two Queens. Two Heroes isn't exactly an unprecedented idea, at this point.
Then, the other Hero explains that there are others.
