When Jason Todd died, Bruce Wayne cried tears, sobs of pity and self-hate that would linger for years to come. Alfred would leave Jason’s room untouched, letting the dust set and preserving the only proof of a sixteen-year-old boy who had once lived there.
When Jason Todd died, the earth was dug into six feet deep for a boy who no-longer breathed, who no longer slept, who no longer lived.
When The Boy Wonder died, when the second Robin fell, the world didn’t even notice, for a new Robin had taken his place in Batman’s shadow after only a few months.
When Robin died, he never woke up again.
The same cannot be said for Jason Todd.
