Summary
When the Decision Game was won, it solved most of Crash Keys's problems. Delta was captured, and the Radical-6 pandemic would never come to pass. But there was one more threat--that of the "religious fanatic" mentioned by Delta--and in the process of taking this mysterious terrorist down, Crash Keys is about to learn more about their universe than they bargained for.

Luna grabs at the gun and attempts to wrench it from Clover’s hands. She bleats like a distressed lamb as she does her best to keep the sharp needle away from her fair skin. Their fingers tangle across the barrel, the trigger, the vial. Their hands are all over each other and the gun’s body. Luna’s hands press against hers, warm and soft and wrong. It is nearly impossible to notice this wrongness, but Clover does. ABT is designed to be indistinguishable from real human flesh. Hair, pores, scars, moles, the lot. Light’s prosthetic is lined with it. However, it isn't perfect, no matter how expensive it is. It has a slight plasticky feeling; a sensation like touching TV static.
Clover feels it now and leans into it.

And if going back to Dcom didn't do enough, why not try going farther? There were other nonary games, before Dcom. Maybe if she goes back to 2018 this time, to the first nonary game, that might be enough.

Junpei's first attempt at SHIFTing doesn't exactly go as planned. Things are going fast, the facility is about to blow up, and Akane had spent more time explaining Back to the Future than how this actually works. That's probably how he ends up getting it so wrong, and accidentally launching himself back to 2018.
