We never truly knew until the day our world was burned to the ground and shattered across the stars, when our time ran out.A gentle retelling of ff 14's storyline, nothing super fancy, just some changes here and there, that focuses a bit more heavily on the conflict between light and dark. When Lahabrea is called away on urgent business just before the Convocation is to convene, Kairos and Plexaure (twin souls who share the seat of Azem) cease the opportunity in the name of chaos.
As one does.
Today was special. Lahabrea had been called away on urgent business just before they went into session, and Kairos had seen an opportunity. As with most opportunities, the Azems had seized it with extreme prejudice; at Kai’s suggestion, Plex had temporarily fused the two seats together with no small amount of malevolent glee. The throne-like chairs now stood back-to-back, with Kairos in one and Plex in the other, on a rotating platform of Plexaure's own making.
It was the best idea they'd ever had.

The sound of his name on his lips - spoken so softly, so intimately - was like a strike of flint against dry tinder, albeit accompanied by a mocking intention.It did embarrass him, the fact that Hythlodaeus was a tempest — capable of igniting an inferno within him, but also reducing him to a hollow husk. And still, he gave himself willingly to the lavender-eyed man.

Summary
When the elderly Elidibus suddenly and unexpectedly returns to the star, Azem gets dragged back to Amaurot to help fill in the gap left by the missing Convocation member. To keep the former Elidibus's work moving apace, Azem, Nabriales, and a very tired Chief of the Bureau of the Architect are tapped to split up Elidibus's workload while the Convocation tries to appoint a new Elidibus. With both extra work and the unpleasant prospect of hours upon hours of bureaucratic committee meetings, nobody is happy. But at least Elidibus left them a very bright young executive assistant, Themis, who is more than eager and willing to offer his assistance.
And a certain Dionysius still owes his two best friends a feast. And dessert.

this will be a story of my beliefs, why i believe the Ascian exists and how I discovered that Etheirys actually exists and my soul came from there originally. The Real ascians exist as Spirits here.
I am only sharing what I believe in, you do not need to believe it, and I am not forcing anyone to believe it either.
I have witnessed way too many spiritual events to conclude that they exist.
This story is NOT for skeptics or closed-minded people or any people who think spirituality is fake. A lot of unexplainable (paranormal) events and occurrences, and also confirmations found in books, will appear in this story.
I found other people who believed the same in chapter 6 and onwards and gained confirmation of my soul's past (prior to that its mostly dreams only). even confirmation from people who don't play the game that they exist.

Lahabrea extends her an invitation to a gathering of like-minded individuals, and Azem finds all the love she could ask for. Though echoes of tragedy persist, all is well for many years. At least, until a disaster in Elpis sends all the world spinning.
