Ford looked back at the table, where a beige and yellow lily was resting in a beaker, and the man put two-and-two together.
“... shit”
“Don’t curse around the kids, you idiot!!”
And at that shout, Dipper started screaming
-In the lead-up to Weirdmageddon, Dipper and Ford try to extract a needed ingredient for Bill-Proofing the house that has a very odd, very unintended side effect - everyone in the Mystery Shack is now half their age!! They all take it with varying degrees of "okay-ness", but how will they get out of this one?
Well, they're working on it, and on the way might end up in a better place than they started.
That is, if they can get out of this in one piece.

Ford realised Bill must’ve flicked him to gain his attention. A flicker of annoyance reflexively bubbled up in response, before he caught up with his reaction and quickly stifled it.
"OH!”
His gaze snapped upwards towards the source of the voice- he…he had never seen his muse look so utterly startled; a stab of worry swept unwittingly through him. "B-Bill-?"
They stared at each other.
“Are…you alright-?”
Before he could utter another word, Bill seemingly shook out of his daze.
"THAT'S RUDE FOR YOU!", his Muse exclaimed, eye possibly the widest he had ever seen.

Stan find himself suddenly awake as the milky scent of a pup mixed with a more sour aroma hits his nose.
Then, the sound of little feet, covered with socks, padding down the steps reaches his ears before the small figure of his nephew enters his sight.
"Grunkle?" The pup says at the same time a mournful keen leaves his throat.
Stan blinks and finds himself standing in front of Dipper.

The first cage he finds has a sign on it.
It’s made out of old driftwood and it reads: “Deadly! Do not open!”
Stan reads it a few times. The words have been written with red paint which has smeared across the sign in a few places. The writing is hasty and barely legible, as if it was done in a moment of great hurry or panic. The red paint and the occasional splatters make it look like blood and the numbness in Stan’s brain recedes long enough for him to snort a derogatory laugh and roll his eyes.
His brother can be so dramatic.

After the portal incident, Stan frees all of Ford's specimen. He thinks that's the end of it.
He couldn't have been more wrong.
