Sam rolls onto his back, a happy little sigh at the back of his throat. Something lands on the corner of his mouth. Something warm. Something that slides into the seam between Sam’s lips.
Sam’s eyes open. He looks up at the ceiling.
And there, suspended above Sam’s head, pressed to the ceiling, is Dean.
Or: After Sam and Dean finally fall into bed together, Sam receives a warning. Sam will do anything to prevent this terrifying, looming future, but it might just tear him and Dean apart forever in the process.
