Summary
This story is about an Eliksni Vandal named Keraasix and the first Eliksni Guardian, Nahcurii. Keraasix, nearly killed on Titan by his disgusted Captain who shot him in the gut and left him for dead, survived for over a decade there, and after what felt like a lifetime of pain, trauma, and even being cursed by a vengeful hive witch, he was finally able to escape the impending threat of the darkness, by playing stowaway on an eliksni's ketch and making it to earth where he has been living for several years. Alone out in the wilds of earth, this eliksni survivor has made a comfortable life for himself, although has been wary of everyone else, having only seen the worst of not only his own race, but other's and it left him paranoid and forced into a self-made isolation.
Our story starts as Keraasix's solitary life is about to be flipped upside-down when he meets a most disarming new friend, the Guardian Nahcurii, who it turns out is very near her Season and invites him to join her for it.
While Nahcurii had gone out there to find some broken Vanguard Beacons and escape her own traumas and fears regarding her past, what she found out in the forests was so much more then she could have ever bargained for.

When a Ghost discovers and resurrects his Lightbearer nearby, though, they can’t stand by and allow them to be slaughtered — even if the Lightbearer in question just so happens to be a 30-something-foot alien robot that looks like the Devil himself.
