Max Mayfield wanted a fresh start after finally defeating Vecna. A new location to forget all the traumatic bullshit she had been forced to endure for several years and a place to forget the friends she had lost. Now, moving in with her Uncle Jack in his apartment in Derry, Maine, she hopes that she can use her free time in the summer to finally catch up on the schoolwork she missed while in that damned coma. But the scars left by her time in Hawkins, both seen and unseen, make this difficult. To make things even more complicated, she starts to develop a sense of empathy with the redheaded girl across the hall and wonders if there might be a way to save her from her shitty home life. And there might be an entity lurking beneath the town far worse than anything that emerged from the Upside Down.
(Basically takes some liberties with the end of season 5, as well as doing a crossover with IT. Essentially Max finds her becoming a member of the Losers Club and begins to wonder if there might be a way to save from suffering the same fate as the Party)
