In an existential crash out, she quits medical school and takes a job as a clerk at a Spirit of Halloween Store. Things were looking bleak until she collided into a tall handsome stranger who she had never met before, but who was eerily familiar.
This is a WIP, I have no clue how long it is going to be, but I am thinking novel length. It is not in the same universe as When Head Meets Heart or The Force Cat Distribution System.

There were, no had been, better men than he, and Mayday had served with them all his life and he was serving with the last one now. Brothers to the end. Calling him an officer was an insult to them.
They were all gone now.
Crosshair's voice was getting quieter. He could barely hear him now.
