Ps: Unlike many other authors who are way more professional than me, I simply did not have the patience to wait until my fic was ready, planned out, and definitive before publishing it somewhere. Therefore, I'll be posting the chapters as I write them, but keep in mind they will most likely change a bit through the process. I hope you still enjoy and opinions and constructive criticism are always appreciated.

But the woods remember what the veterans don't, and the lake remembers even more. It starts like any summer camp does: a weekend before the kids arrive filled with chores, pranks, and ghost stories told around the fire. But stories have a way of growing teeth out here and the old legends of blood on the water may not be legends at all.
