The tip of the fox ear twitched, catching Izuku’s attention. The ear looked soft. It was the same shade of red that Kacchan was when he was in fox form and had a spot of white at the very tip. It was large, about the size of Izuku’s hand. The more he studied it, the more Izuku was tempted to touch it. It wasn’t often that Kacchan had his guard down enough to let Izuku touch his ears. The fox familiar allowed him to rub them every now and again, but was more often than not quick to nip at Izuku’s fingers before streaking off in a huff.
The temptation grew until it was too much. Izuku lifted his hand from Kacchan’s hair where he had been playing and petting the strands. He extended one finger and touched the tip before quickly swiping it down the edge of the fox ear. Instead of a little twitch, the ear flicked, dipping forward and down, then to the right and out. The movement was a little unexpected but Izuku couldn’t help himself as he repeated the motion on the ear, smiling as it flicked again.
“Stop touching it.”

A Cherry Magic AU, where Wei Wuxian on his 30th birthday finds himself in a crowded elevator next to Lan Zhan, and soon realizes two things:
1. that there seems to be some truth to that ridiculous urban legend about 30-year-old virgins being able to hear the thoughts of other people as soon as they touch.
2. that Lan Zhan works out, AND that he, despite his stoic exterior, thinks that Wei Wuxian smells good and has an adorable bed-head, along with some other not-so PG-13 fantasies and thoughts.
And no, Wei Wuxian has no idea what to do with this information.

Okay so far it s one of the best fics of 2022 for me. It s a cherry magic au BUT not only that. The plot is really amazing and the story goes far beyond the typical cherry magic au/workplace relationship… it’s about wangxian growing together and experiencing their first love story//their first relationship, together! And the missteps and misunderstandings (theyre idiots…) and hurting and loving each other. It is SO good. The supporting characters are all well written, no one is flat, it s really a masterpiece for me…it’s almost 100k but i couldnt get enough ♥️♥️♥️ I could have kept reading it for hours on end. Thank you so much to the author for writing and sharing this atory
