That puts a flutter in Jeremy's stomach just like it did the first time he heard it, and the sentiment behind it warms him the exact same way it always has. He lets that carry him along, and does not ask himself if he should. It's not about him. This is about Jean.
Jeremy shifts in place, twisting on the couch to face Jean with his whole body, leaving himself open, relaxed, willing. Looks Jean in the eye and says, far more casually than he feels, “I'm right here.”
(Or, when it seems Jean is in need of someone he trusts for sexual exploration, Jeremy volunteers.)

The chill of the water, the silence under the wave, the oxygen careening into grateful lungs as he tread water on the other side of the breakers, all a blessed reprieve from a conversation he never wanted to have. And then, the wrongness landed in his gut. The cowardice, the guilt, but something else too…
Jeremy had turned towards the shore only to see Jean, fully clothed in waist deep water, a very soggy Jab clutched to his chest. He seemed frozen to the spot, his face betraying his terror as the next set of waves rolled ever closer. Too far away, Jeremy knew, he would never make it in time.

“Give me your hands, chéri.” Jean’s voice was soft but his tone brokered no argument. Kevin hurried to comply and presented his hands. Jean took them in his own and kissed the back of each one before stretching Kevin’s arms up, up, up, until they touched the cold metal of the headboard. Jean squeezed Kevin’s hands once before letting go. “Hold on until one of us tells you to let go. Can you do that for me?”
“Uh huh,” Kevin nodded, closing his fingers around the bars above his head. He was fully exposed like this, arms outstretched above him, Jean nestled between his legs, and his expression said there was no place on earth he’d rather be. Jean raised an eyebrow at him, waiting. “Yes, Jean.” Kevin corrected himself.
“Good boy.” Jean said, and that was it. That was the last straw. Kevin was gone.

"One more step, Jeremy," Jean's hands roam against his ass before retreating and Jeremy's hips stutter, wanting to follow his touch. There's a small click and the lightest touch against the plug. The fur from the tail brushes against the back of his thighs. Jean runs a gentle hand from the base to the tip, sending a shiver up Jeremy's spine.
"Spin," Jean says quietly, keeping a warm hand on Jeremy's hip. Jeremy breathes shakily, trying to remember how to use his limbs. His bones feel like gelatin, but he somehow manages to turn around and face Jean. The tail swings with every movement. The ears sit snug on his head. The collar is tight around his neck. "Good dog."
A lupine whine startles from Jeremy's throat. Yes. He is good. He's Jean's good dog.
