She closes her eyes with a sigh. How would Junpei’s life have turned out if she hadn’t entangled him in her plans? It was necessary for her survival, yes, and if Delta is right about the religious fanatic, her survival was necessary for humanity to be saved, too. However, knowing those things doesn’t make the fact that she put Junpei through the Nonary Game in multiple histories any easier to stomach.
“I’m sorry,” she blurts out.
“Huh?”
“I said, ‘I’m sorry’.”
Junpei frowns. “I know that. It’s just, why are you apologizing all of a sudden? You just had a nightmare, it’s nothing to—”
“I’m… not talking about the dream.”A nightmare leads Akane to confront some feelings of guilt she has about her past. Junpei and her have a heartfelt chat about it.

Luna grabs at the gun and attempts to wrench it from Clover’s hands. She bleats like a distressed lamb as she does her best to keep the sharp needle away from her fair skin. Their fingers tangle across the barrel, the trigger, the vial. Their hands are all over each other and the gun’s body. Luna’s hands press against hers, warm and soft and wrong. It is nearly impossible to notice this wrongness, but Clover does. ABT is designed to be indistinguishable from real human flesh. Hair, pores, scars, moles, the lot. Light’s prosthetic is lined with it. However, it isn't perfect, no matter how expensive it is. It has a slight plasticky feeling; a sensation like touching TV static.
Clover feels it now and leans into it.
