"Stop fucking gaslighting me Gi-hun!"
Gi-hun's mouth clicked shut.
Detective Hwang In-ho was stuck, this case isn't moving forward and bodies are piling up. One body–every three months.
And the department's name for the killer–Deadly Sinner–makes him wanna slam his head against the wall or laugh till he cries.
And then there's Seong Gi-hun, the mechanic he met once because his tire got punctured, who won't leave him alone. Somehow he finds himself meeting Gi-hun everywhere. And the worst part, he can't stop himself from interacting with him.
So when the next body is found in Gi-hun's shop instead of the usual parking lots, he becomes even more tangled with the man.
He can't help the pull. And maybe–maybe Gi-hun isn't as kind-hearted as he seems.

Kara Sevda
[Noun.] Turkish
A blinding, desperate love for another person. A kind of love that makes you sick. Literally translates to "Dark Love"."You did it, hero. You stopped the games. You should be happy."
Gi-hun had won. In-ho has failed to break his spirit. And the more he fails, the more his obsession with the man grows, plunging him into the black ocean of despair. A love that is keeping them both prisoners.
"How long are you going to keep me here?"
"As long as it takes."
Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of loveThe song they were dancing to felt like a letter to the future. In-ho knew that whatever they had couldn't last forever. Sooner or later, Gi-hun was going to disentangle himself from his web.
He just wanted to dance with him until the end.

He sees that the fight has left him.

He knows he should be gone but when he wakes up, he is in a hospital. Gi-hun realizes this may be a different world where the games never existed and everyone he loved is alive. Despite this, he is willing to stay there, no matter what.

“Please Nam-gyu, just this one!” Gyeongsu nags him as he’s highlighting notes in his notebook.
“Yeah, c’mon man. You’re always cooped up in your room, why not have some fun?” Se-mi agrees as she picks her head back up.
Nam-gyu’s never been one for party's. He’s only been to one, and he didn’t even last for 10 minutes before high tailing it out of there, so does it really count?
“Look, we’ll stop asking you to do our homework if you go.” Min-su says quietly, his eyes flickering around to everyone else as they slowly nod.
“Fine.” Nam-gyu finally mumbles as he aggressively highlights an equation as everybody cheers.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the tags cuz there might be a couple triggering things in this fic(?) we’ll see. -
