dupont welcomes five transfers from england for the year, arriving after the winter holidays. one of them is felix fathom, adrien's incredibly famous cousin. the first transfer, however, arrives early to the interest of marinette and lila - for lila, it's because she goes to school with a rich, powerful teenager, and marinette likes that she isn't easily fooled. marinette thinks that life may be looking up for her - but is this girl really want she seems? and how far will lila go to use the new girl to get power from felix for her own gain?

Things between Ladybug and Cat Noir were getting better after the whole Cat Walker fiasco, but it still isn't like it used to be. Along with some new problems with his cat side, Adrien starts to see that his advice to Marinette about Lila was not the right way to go.
He just wants to fix problems in and out of the mask, but things are quickly growing beyond his meager control. Plagg tries to help in his own way, though Adrien is going to need to dig deep and unsheathe his claws. Cats are known for being independent after all.

What if the canon was not a lie but simply misinterpreted? the true 2 canon events are "With great power comes great responsibility" and "the leap of faith". After all it was Miguel's brother who died not an uncle, nor did a cop die, his family did to which he left to another universe as his was collapsing(though that one promptly followed through). but the latter truly never happened, nobody truly knew what happened 12 years ago when several people on Earth-1610 went missing, One of them being Miguel. Nor did the missing spider know that Earth-1610 is his home universe and did not perish.
What they do know is that a 3-year-old was left orphaned in that universe to be taken by her aunt and uncle. Then said child got bullied, put into a hero role she did not want to be in, met a... colorful alternate universe version of her which opened a whole can of worms that her dad is not dead via not being found for 11 years but trapped in another dimension.
...Yeah the Spider people and the miraculous holders are the universe's favorite sitcom.
Peter Parker has been dead for a year, a new spiderman has been in town for a while, matt is sending her drunk voicemails and the bad guy is now good. She needs a nap.
