Summary
Tim always heard that you should never meet your heroes.
Apparently, they would almost always disappoint you.
But, Tim always thought that his hero was the exception.
Tim remembered a time when he would've been ecstatic to be in the presence of Jason Todd. But, that was before.
Jason Todd, the version Tim admired at least, was dead.
In his place was the Red Hood.
And, if anyone knew anything about the Red Hood, it’s that he hated the newest Robin with every fiber of his being.
These days, the very thought of having to be in his very presence would send Tim spiraling. Not that he would ever tell that to Dick, or God forbid Bruce. The pair wouldn't admit it, well Dick might actually, but they desperately wanted Jason to come back into the family.
Both put up a front like they hated the Red Hood, but Tim is more perceptive than they give him credit for.
But that’s okay.
Tim knows that he is an afterthought.
A replacement.

Summary
Things have been pretty mellow tonight, a little quiet and while that was usually a good thing when patrolling Gotham, things were a little too quiet on certain fronts. It wasn’t strictly necessary to check in that often but Tim had been quiet for hours, too quiet for comfort. Dick didn’t think he was hurt, Tim always reported when he would enter a scuffle or even if he was getting a cat out of a tree, so that didn’t seem to be the reason. Though that only made Dick worry even more, honestly.
He needed to find his little brother an get to the bottom of this, now.

He wasn't exactly wrong, but there was a line between cleaning wounds and pouring alcohol onto them while giggling like a psychopath, and from what he remembered Robin had gleefully danced over it- and then, for some unfathomable reason, back again. Because, at the end of the day, his injury was well wrapped, and apparently cleaned, and it was the best he felt after a gunshot wound in....a while.
