Really, really good characterization and also very good political backdrop to the fic—Arpad Hrunta’s given a lot of thought to how Luna and Harry getting together would change canon, and how it gives the Ministry of Magic and Dolores Umbridge a new and extremely unpleasant vector with which to attack Harry Potter and discredit him. Also has an EXTREMELY brilliantly fabulously fantastically well-written professor Flitwick who basically steals the limelight in the fanfiction whenever he appears on the page. The world-building and characterization of this fanfiction are simply outstanding. I want to buy Arpad Hrunta a drink. Or several.

Excellent characterization and slow-burn.
“Oh, this is lovely!” Luna padded out on to the lawn and bent to look at buddleia bush that grew up against one of the fences. “Lots of flowers for all seasons. You’ll have to be careful to look after them all.”
“I thought of you.” Harry said the words without thinking, and then immediately wondered why he had. Replaying them in his head, he realised they sounded too intimate. Suggestive. He could feel the heat of an embarrassed flush in his cheeks, and was glad Ron and Hermione had left.
But Luna just looked up at him with curious grey eyes, silently waiting for him to continue.
“When I saw the garden, I mean. I just, I thought it would be a nice place to sit and have tea.” He gestured to the patio. “And it made me think of you.”
He didn’t quite know why he was telling her this, but it was true. When the estate agent had brought him out to look at the garden, he had taken a look around and immediately visualised a little wooden table and chairs on the patio, where he could sit and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. And the person he had imagined sitting with him was Luna; he had seen her sitting cross legged beside him with a mug of tea, or looking at the flowers just the way she was doing now.

Post-Hogwarts, during Luna’s seventh year, Harry Potter tries to introduce Luna to some good old British absurdist comedy, the classic Monty Python, but Luna takes it badly as the comedy hits a little close to home. Kind of a brilliant and understated fanfic. I have yet to find a writer who writes Luna and Harry quite so well and in-character as Arpad Hrunta does. What I like best about this fanfiction is the interesting interplay between the Muggle world and the magical world, Harry’s maladroit but sincere concern for Luna, and Luna’s sensitivity and sweetness. Considering it’s been less than a year since the Battle of Hogwarts, it makes total sense to watch Harry and Luna have to do some healing together.

What if Harry Potter had a much more mischievous side, one that was locked away thanks to everyone's favorite manipulative old geezer.
It starts at the end of Harry's fourth year, as the shock and stess from the events in the graveyard forces him to enter into a magically induced coma.
For twelve hours, he's asleep, the trauma of seeing Cedric die and seeing the ghosts of his parents, not to mention the return of Voldemort, breaks down a thirteen year old magical barrier in Harry's mind, awakening a part of Harry long since thought lost.
Suddenly, its chaos. the Boy-Who-Lived vanishes with a magical motorcycle and an ancient snake, the death eaters are being harassed in the worst way (You know, fire and destruction), the Ministry is being its usual cowardly self, and Dumbledore is trying to find how it all went wrong.
And then, at the start of 5th year, a very different Harry Potter shows up, with an Agenda in hus mind designed to flip the Wizarding World on its head, and the determination to do it.
They never saw him coming.
