Summary
A burst of what I can only describe as life jerks through my lungs. Airways open and the swelling in my throat clears in an instant. Without any hesitation I gasp in a deep breath. Then I cough as the air is too much for my system. Then I suck in another. The cycle repeats several times, and I shake as feeling slowly returns to my body.
"Peyton," The fae whispers into my ear, "Just breathe."
Calm sweeps over me, drowning anything other than obedience. The hacking dies down as my breaths finally even out into something my lungs can handle. A pleasant little warmth goes up my spine. Every thought narrows down to one order. Just breathe.

Okay, I know the description is bad, but I don't really care. I promise, this will be interesting, just trust me.I don't own DC. I don't own Harry Potter. I might have a few OCS, though, so watch out for that.
This is the Batfamily, though, so be prepared for violence and hilariousness.

Summary
Tommy had been born after the End and that meant there weren’t many people left for him to befriend. His city was huge but he was the only one here, just him and his plants. He knew there were others like him, inhuman with glowing eyes and sharp teeth, but they didn’t like him. Once when he was young and he’d been especially lonely, he had gone to find others despite the warnings from the trees. He had never left the city again after that, the scar made from sharp claws across his chest was enough of a reminder about what was outside the city borders.
Or, Tommy lives alone in the city and decides he wants friends.
