One so profound, lovely that it became the only one of its kind. And it would've remained as such had a simple jinxed shard not undone its knots abruptly.
But, as time marched on. As seasons changed. As the world continued to spin.
The yearning persisted.
The yearning to connect. To know one another anew. To be threaded together once more.
And if there's one thing these hardened strings knew, it's to make sure all that comes true.

Summary
Yuu was just an ordinary student of an Islamic private school. Well, as normal as she could get as a suicidal girl with undiagnosed mental illnesses. However, most of those mental illnesses were her own assumptions. Which were probably incorrect too.
So, when her world was about to end, she accepted her fate as it was. Yet, why must life make her suffer by giving her another chance at life? She didn't need another one! She was okay with serving her karma in hell.
At least, she got some nice eye candy while she lived this pitiful life.

But of course he still had one friend... Or at least he thought he did. He never asked for his name, but he's sure he'll remember them if he saw them again.
Meanwhile his dear friend has most certainly remembered him. After all, he's been watching him for quite awhile through those lovely roses...

It could have worse for Yuu, and honestly this whole experience had helped her in a way that she had never thought it was possible. Yes, it was true that Yuu was currently stranded in what it seemed to be a different reality in which everything was upside down. With flying brooms, infinite savannas, poisoned apples, faeries lurking from the shadows, and magic in every corner to the point of feeling new colors in every fiber of your body.
While some (many) see her situation as pitiful since Yuu doesn’t have any magic to even attend classes, she couldn’t even be happier to be finally left alone to put some good order in her life, even if said life now includes living with a monster cat in an abandoned building which is infested by very dapper ghosts.
For her, it was perfect. The most suited schedule for reading, the most appropriate bed time, and all of the important stuff she could do without anyone breathing down on Yuu’s neck about not doing unnecessary stuff such as actually engaging in an active social life, a more relaxed cleaning time… or eating.

The school is left in a frenzy, but a certain student decided to take action, and Claire found herself going on a rouge rescue mission to save everyone.
However, this was not a random attack. One of their own is responsible for this. Worst of all, he is the leader.
As they are held captive, the kidnapped students realize that they were taken for a reason from their past, and this reason ties back to their precious non-magic, who may be walking into a situation that she cannot return alive.

After witnessing seven overblots and being pulled into the many plots of the villainous magical students, Yuu is lucky to have almost survived a full school year at Night Raven College. Of course, she has been scarred in more ways than one, and Crowley has yet to give her any information about finding a way home, but that's alright. She is not a native, she is not a boy, and above all else, she has no magic, so it is her job to take the broken pieces of the school and put them back together as her way of earning her keep, even if it cuts her apart instead. Yuu doesn't mind this, because these dysfunctional mages are now her friends, and she would do anything for them.
But somewhere deep inside her, kept hidden from every single person she knows, there is a thing in Yuu that hungers for something. She does not know what it is or what it searches for, but she does know that it is growing stronger with every dream and nightmare she has. And she is not sure how much longer she will be able to stop it.
(a take on Book 8 where everything that's happened to Yuu catches up to them, and how those who caused it have to fix things, for once)
