She’d be ashamed if neither were bare, if Hornet wore clothes instead of her own sweat, if Lace saw that sinewy back and somehow tore her eyes. Her legs squeeze impossibly tight.
“These colors do wash you out,” She decides. “Let me.”

Chelation therapy is the medical term for treating heavy metal poisoning from elements such as Mercury, Arsenic, or in the Soldier’s case: Lead. It can be administered through pills or injections, and, if all goes according to plan, should be over in about a week.
It took about a month of spontaneous visits, and it didn’t start out because someone asked to get better. It started out with a more selfish reason. The Medic needed a quick way to effectively rid himself of expired goods. Medication, biohazards, the kind of things that would have gotten his medical license revoked if it weren’t for the skeleton thing. The soldier agreed.
And then he kept agreeing.
And soon it was no longer out of necessity.

Isagi Yoichi was born useless.His rune held no skills and his pathway made it obvious his standing
𝘜𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 was his pathway. Not exactly the best sounding but Yoichi had already resigned to his fate of being worthless trash.
The pathways are the concepts people gain once they obtain a rune and can see their statistics. Any normal person would start off with the 5 paths if their stats get high enough, them being Destruction, Erudition, Abundance, Harmony and Preservation. Unfortunately for about 89% of the population, having stats above 50 to even obtain a pathway was virtually impossible.
The statistics relied on 3 main attributes. 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 and 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.

Exhibit B: Not a single person has asked Buck to bring a pastry to their brunch plans, or a dessert to their dinner plans, despite his very clear love for baking.
Exhibit C: Eddie discourages Buck from supplying baked goods to people and events like it is an olympic sport.

Exhibit D: Eddie also eats every single one of Buck’s creations, enthusiastically. He waits by the oven like a child, shoves cookies, pieces of bread, and scones into his mouth like a starving man, moans and groans in delight, and even asks Buck when he’s planning on baking more.
