Summary

Izuku had thought that it would bring him peace, however it only made his life a lot more complicated.

Vigilantism is defined as illegal and/or unlicensed quirk use with the intentional goal of rounding up, attacking, or otherwise apprehending criminals or otherwise in a manner emulating the tasks of heroes in an offensive or dangerous manner.
Izuku reread the definition a few times.
It wasn't as though Izuku had never heard of vigilantes. He even had notes on a few interesting ones. He knew illegal quirk use was probably a big factor in it being, well, illegal. He just hadn't realized quirk use was what made somebody a vigilante. It was sort of odd. He expected the definition to be more… inclusive, he supposed. What if somebody just didn't use their quirk? It couldn't apply to mutations unless they had emitter or transformation qualities, right? It couldn't apply to-
It couldn't apply to him.
He couldn't be a vigilante.
They couldn't arrest him for being one.
Or:
Midoriya Izuku ends up becoming a vigilante. Featuring Eraserdad, a very tired Tsukauchi, and Mic being the sanest adult here.

They'd met at some dorm mixer, been introduced through mutual friends, and within ten minutes had been locked in an argument about something Izuku couldn't even remember now. What he did remember was the way Katsuki's eyes had narrowed, assessing and dismissive all at once, and the way he'd said,
"You're one of those people who thinks reading books makes you smart."
Izuku had responded, "You're one of those people who thinks being loud makes you right."
It had gone downhill from there.
Or, Izuku Midoriya gets stuck in a psychology project with his apparent sworn-enemy Katsuki Bakugou. Turns out his Psychology Major really doesn't help when applied in real life.

Izuku was lonely. Even though he hated it.
After his mom had died he was forcibly placed with his father that he had never even met before. His father, who ended up being abusive, had told him that being lonely was what he deserved for being so useless.
He had believed his father’s words even after he had ran away from home, got his dreams crushed by the #1 hero, learned how to fight, saved people, and became japans most wanted vigilante.

He'll push the quirk users until their quirks are perfect all for an ounce of his father's love that they so easily have.He never meant to be the villain and monster in their stories, but even Izuku Midoryia, Death, has limits. And when a boy born to be a solider with the knowledge of the most dangerous human advancement reached that limit, things will crumble and break. A life built on lies from a father will be burned and recreated from the ashes by the son. If a hundred or more people have to die for that to happen, so be it. He will be the monster to those people.
