Summary
A girl named Katie starts at Violet's school, but she seems a little off. Not necessarily bad off; just off. And Violet is not the only one who sees her this way. While becoming close with Violet, Katie seems particularly interested in a certain topic that might threaten secrets.
Meanwhile, Katie is a very intelligent girl who just started in a public school after being homeschooled her entire life. She always seems to be a little standoffish towards people, not wanting to get close to them. Katie enjoys spending time with Violet; however, there is a chance she could have ulterior motives.
Are these motives bad or simply misguided? And what might her reasoning for these be? Is there more to her story, and the story of countless supers, for that matter? And what happens when an even worse enemy than before returns with an even worse artillery?
Not to mention, will things kept hidden be brought into the light? And how did this girl Katie end up the way she is now? And for that matter, will stories of supers be told, and secrets unknown before be revealed? There may be more to the past than what is known.

Ever since she was a little girl, Elodie Cane's grandpa had always invoked a sense of wonder in her when he talked of men and women in obnoxiously colored costumes and tights swooping in to save the day. He talked about the lawsuits, the aftermath, and the short return of heroes in the 1960s. Their return was short lived, however, and the Supers became a story of the past --- but not to Elodie. She has a plan to bring the Supers back into the spotlight, but unfortunately there's only so much she can do with the little information available. She wishes she knew more about the Supers of the past, and she falls asleep hoping she'll have some luck after a good night's rest. That is, until she wakes up the next morning in 1946 --- one year before the Supers became illegal.

A week later, he had another and you gave him some of your lunch. You started talking, then drinking, and you couldn't really remember when it happened- but you became friends, then close friends and maybe even best friends.
Well, maybe that was a bit much.

Syndrome remembered with uncanny clarity how even back then, once-full-of-hope-Buddy had wondered why did people actively support someone as awful as Gamma Jack, who was everything society would usually frown upon: loud, uncouth, misogynistic with a penchant for extreme violence against his opponents and a clear priority for pretty young women instead of high-risk victims when 'saving the day'.
"Pretty privilege really helped you out then, huh?" He went on.
The blonde's body still retained some of its warmth and Syndrome would enjoy it to the fullest—after all, it hadn't been that long since v.X6 had crushed the hero to death.
